In a thrilling match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Tuesday, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain Rishabh Pant showcased his remarkable talent by scoring his second century in the Indian Premier League (IPL). His impressive innings of 118 not out off 61 balls propelled his team to a formidable total of 227/3, marking a significant moment in his comeback journey.

After undergoing extensive rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, Pant made his much-anticipated return to professional cricket in the 2024 IPL season, playing for Delhi Capitals against Punjab Kings.
His comeback to Test cricket was equally successful, as he scored a century against Bangladesh in his first match back, contributing to India's impressive 280-run victory.
Since joining the Delhi franchise in 2016, Pant has consistently delivered strong performances in the IPL. Over five of his eight seasons, he has maintained a strike rate exceeding 150. In the 2024 season, he accumulated 446 runs across 13 matches, averaging 40.54 with a strike rate of 155.40.
Despite a slow start to the season, with an average of 12.80 and a strike rate of 99.22, his recent century marks a significant return to form, showcasing both his skill and fitness levels.
